Visa eligibility depends on nationality, trip length and purpose. For the common Visa on Arrival route, Immigration currently requires a passport valid for at least six months.
Complete the free digital arrival declaration for everyone travelling to Indonesia.
It combines immigration, customs, health and quarantine declarations in one form. You can complete it from three days before arrival and keep the resulting QR code handy.
Pay the Bali tourist levy online or check whether an exemption applies to you.
The levy is currently IDR 150,000 per international tourist. Love Bali recommends paying before departure and emails a QR-code voucher after payment.
Best time to do it
Visa applications may need more time. The All Indonesia form opens three days before arrival, while the tourist levy can be paid before you travel.
